I am wondering if I am covered in case of fire started by a cigarette? I have a homeowners policy and the only discount i get is for age.

I want to take home insurance policy. After taking home insurance,if any unfortunate incident or any damages does not occur, will our premium (what we paid to insurance company) get back to us? waiting for your early reply thank you

Home Insurance is a pure protection plan. Hence if any damages occur then the Sum Assured would be paid to you according to the terms and conditions of the plan. However, if nothing happens to you, then the premium would not be returned.
