I have to take health insurance for my parents (Father: 72 yrs, Mother: 60 yrs). Please suggest me good health insurance for senior citizen which covers. There are lot of policies available in market but I am confused which should I select.

I am 61 yr old and my wife 59. please advise us the best health insurance plan that would cover our medical expenses till our death...and if not claimed the sum will be given to nominee...any such plan ? in any case will need a medical insurance ..i have high BP and wife doesn't have any...

You can opt for separate plans for yourself and your wife since you would be able to apply for Senior Citizen Plan which your wife will not be able to apply for yet till she is 60 years old.

I AM 70 YRS OLD AND AM STILL WORKING. I AM COVERED UNDER MEDICAL INSURANCE BY THE COMPANY BY STAR INSURANCE. CAN I HAVE AN ADDITIONAL POLICY OF MY OWN TO CONTINUE IN CASE MY RETIREMENT.

I and my wife r keeping our mediclaim from "e-mediteck" i.e. from United India insurance co. For five lac each for the last so many Years, but we r not happy with their performance. Though we have Become senior citizen but we r quite healthy, can we switch over to ICICI Prudential if it is trouble...

If you are not happy with your present plan you can always shift with your existing benefits intact according to health portability.
