The best plan for Senior Citizen is to opt for Senior Citizen Plans such that the benefits can be availed like coverage of pre-existing diseases within 1 year of policy inception. Honestly, I did not understand your requirement. If you want tax rebate for your mother's health plan, you can always do so by proposing the plan for your mother and premium is tax free till Rs 15,000 undersection 80D.
