Anytime is a good time to invest as long as your goals are set right and you know why and where you are investing. There is nothing like a good time or bad time to purchase ULIPs. If the marke tis performing badly now, it will ease out the odds in the long run and hence it can be purchased anytime.
ULIP is usually associated only with equity and debt is completely forgotten. ULIPs have both Equity and Debt fund Options. But whenever people talk of ULIP, they immediately associate it with equity market and the debt and money market fund is conveniently forgotten.

I've a ULIP plan named "Tata AIA Life InvestAssure Optima Plus" of 20yrs; SA: 450000 with for which I've already paid 3 premiums amounting to 92000. My current fund value is as follows:
Fund Name: Whole Life Aggressive Growth Fund No. of Units: 3,465.751109
There is no logic to discontinue your ULIP after 3 years.

Will this policy give good monetary benefit after maturity since getting negative feedbacks about this policy.
ULIPs are long term plans and it takes about 10-15 years for any ULIP to break even and perform positively. There is no logical reasoning to calculate the fund value of any ULIP. The fund performance would depend on the market performance which cannot be calculated now.

As my both the policies from HDFC has completed 3yrs and locking period is over. So its my wish as to further deposit the premium or not. Is there any better option that these policies to invest this 78000 amount and can get better and assured returns.
