I Have Health PlusPolicy 901, Annual premium Rs.15,000,if I dont use any medical benefit can Iget the entire amount after maturity?

LIC Health Plus plan is a health insurance plan that combines health insurance covers for the entire family (husband, wife and the children) – Hospital Cash Benefit (HCB) and Major Surgical Benefit (MSB) along with a ULIP component (investment in the form of Units) that is specifically designed to meet domiciliary treatment (DTB) related expenses for the insured members.

If you do not make a claim and use any medical benefits then you will not get the entire amount of premium back. The portion of your premium which is invested in the market and becomes your fund value will be paid back to you. This fund value in the policy will be paid to you on maturity.

It is best to however keep these 2 needs of life insurance and health insurance separate. Life insurance - more specifically term insurance should be used as a protection tool for our family in case of our untimely death. If the earning member of the house dies, then the family faces financial crisis. In a term insurance, the family gets a lump sum amount on the death of the policyholder.

Health insurance on the other hand is helpful in times of medical emergency, hospitalisation and accident. Today the cost of health care is very high and it becomes difficult to arrange huge sum of money in a short time. Can we change health insurance co.and unit linked insurance to non unit linked insurance

If you have purchased a health plan from a Life Insurance Company then the norm of health insurance portability does not apply. It applies only to health plans from General Insurance Companies only. Hence Unit Linked Health Insurance Plans from Life Insurance Companies cannot be moved.

Absolutely correct. But that should not be a reason to choose a plan, because if you would like to purchase a plan, you should do your research about the plan before you purchase it instead of cancelling the same later, because in that case you spend some money which is not paid back like mortality charge for the few days in a life insurance policy, cost of medical tests, etc.
