Bajaj Allianz Women Specific Critical Illness

This is a women-specific Critical Illness Insurance scheme that provides you protection against the risk of 8 critical illnesses. It gives you the security of knowing that a guaranteed cash sum will be paid in case you are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Critical Illness Cover

100% of sum insured would be paid if the insured member is diagnosed with listed Critical Illness, (subject to policy terms and conditions), List of specific critical illnesses below –

  • Breast Cancer
  • Fallopian Tube Cancer
  • Uterine/Cervical Cancer
  • Ovarian Cancer
  • Vaginal Cancer
  • Permanent Paralysis of Limbs
  • Multitrauma
  • Burns
Congenital Disability Benefit

50% of the sum ensured would be payable if the insured member gives birth to a baby having congenital disease/disorder; benefit available for the first two children only. List of congenital diseases covered under Congenital Disability Benefit –

  • Down’s syndrome
  • Congenital Heart Disease
  • Tracheo-esophageal fistula
  • Cleft Palate with or without cleft lip
  • Spina bifida
Children Education Bonus

If the claim for critical illness benefit is paid under this policy there will be an additional payment of INR 25000/- towards future education of the dependent children (if any)

Loss of Job

In the event of the Insured person losing her job within a period of 3 months of the date of diagnosis of any critical illness as covered in the policy, the policy will pay an amount of INR 25000/- towards loss of employment

Insured receives the amount as lump sum so that she can plan the treatment accordingly

Exclusions for Breast Cancer
  • Pre-Malignant Tumors
Fallopian Tube Cancer:
  • Carcinoma in situ
  • Dysplasia
  • Inflammatory masses
  • Hydatidiform mole
  • Trophoblastic tumours

Cervical Cancer:

  • Tumours showing the malignant changes of carcinoma in situ (early form of cancer that is defined by the absence of invasion of tumor cells into the surrounding tissue, usually before penetration through the basement membrane)(including cervical dysplasia CIN-1, CIN-2, and CIN- 3)
  • Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion (SIL)
  • Fibroid, endometriosis, cystic lesions, Hyperplasia of any type presenting as tumors
  • Hydatidiform mole, trophoblastic tumours
