AEGON Religare Life Insurance Co. Ltd (ARLI) announced that K S Gopalakrishnan has replaced Rajiv Jamkhedkar as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Prior to joining AEGON Religare Life Insurance, Mr. Gopalakrishnan worked with Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company, initially as Appointed Actuary and later became the CFO of the company.
Some of his accomplishments include pioneering concepts such as online Life Insurance, unit linked products with investment guarantees and free looks in India.
Gopalakrishnan is a fellow member of the Insurance Institute of India. He is actively involved in professional work in the Institute of Actuaries of India, where he is currently a member of the Council and Vice President.
