Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company has launched a new online term insurance plan called
iProtect. So this is the 9th life insurance company to launch online term insurance plans. Of late, online term insurance plans have become very popular as they are very competitively priced and can be purchased conveniently by the consumer sitting at home or office.

The plan has been priced very aggressively compared to the options available in the market currently.
Bharti AXA Life iProtect Plan also has a Family Care Benefit Option whereby the customer’s family will get a Rs. 1 lakh cheque within 48 hours of claim registration to take care of some of the immediate expenses before any verification can be done by the company.
Interestingly, the name iProtect is identical to the first online term plan launched by ICICI Prudential which they later discontinued when they launched iCare.
