Life Insurance Council recently conducted a poll to appoint 3 members for its executive committee (EC) and a Chairman who will be heading the EC. The poll has been completed and below are the results:-
– LIC chief S. K. Roy – elected as Chairman of Life Insurance Council
– Tarun Chugh (PNB Met Life), Anup Rau (Reliance Life) and Sandeep Ghosh (Bharti AXA) – elected as EC members of Life Insurance Council.
The elected 3 members will be working with S.K Roy, who will be heading the EC committee for a period of 3 years.
Life Insurance Council is a forum that connects the various stakeholders of the sector. It develops and coordinates all discussions between the Government, Regulatory Board and the Public.
