SBI Life Hospital Cash Plan takes care of you and your family’s medical needs. In case of hospitalisation, from day 1, the policyholder gets a fixed daily allowance irrespective of the amount on the hospital bills. This amount can be used to take care of any expenses and in case of admission in ICU, the benefit paid is double the daily hospital cash benefit.

- First 30 days from policy start date except in case of an accident
- Pre-existing diseases for first 2 years
- Specified ailments for first 2years like hernia, cataract, glaucoma, gastric and duodenal ulcers, skin and internal tumors, sinusitis, tonsillitis, stones, fibroids, arthritis, fistula etc
- Non-allopathic treatments
- Congenital diseases (existing at birth)
- Pregnancy, childbirth, sterility, sex change and related expenses
- Dental treatments
- HIV / AIDS and related conditions
- Mental disorder
- Abuse of alcohol, drugs or intoxicants
- Self-inflicted injuries or suicide
- Nuclear or radioactive contamination, war or similar perils
- Treatments taken outside India
