MyInsuranceClub is India's first approved comparison website for Insurance

MyInsuranceClub.com has become the 1st website in India to obtain a Web Aggregator License from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA). Internet-based distribution is the next big thing in the Indian insurance market and web aggregators play a significant role here. A certification from none other than the IRDA only highlights the growing importance of comparison websites in the Indian insurance space.

To protect the policyholder’s interest, there are rules around promotion and distribution of Insurance products in India. Last year, IRDA had issued certain guidelines for all websites that are in the business of online insurance comparison. MyInsuranceClub was one of the initial websites to apply for the license and now is the first one to get the approval from the Authority. MyInsuranceClub is now authorised to display comparison of all the insurance products on its website. This approval from the regulator is like a seal of trust, which tells the website visitors that they are accessing authentic information and their personal data is in safe hands.

Deepak Yohannan, CEO of MyInsuranceClub
said, “We are pleased to announce to all our visitors and partners that MyInsuranceClub.com is now a licensed web portal. Our focus continues to be to offer helpful and valuable information to our customers.”
