Pre existing diseases (PED) or ailments are usually covered after certain months of continuous renewals with the same insurance company. For example Max Bupa Heartbeat Plans which cover each and every person right from birth (age 0) till death (no age limit), but they also cover pre-existing diseases after 48 months of continuous policy renewals. Alternately, you can also look at Star Health Senior Citizen Red Carpet Insurance Plan, where pre-medical tests are not required for the policy and it especially caters to senior citizen from 60 to 69 years old. In this policy, pre-existing diseases are covered from the second year of operation. . Submit Reply to this Did you find this useful? 0 0
