The following 55 Critical Illnesses are covered as part of the Critical Illness (ACI) Benefit (CIB) available as an Add-on cover in the Bajaj Allianz Smart Protect Goal Term Plan.. You should refer to the policy brochure for more details on the conditions applicable in these illnesses. This is just a list of critical illnesses which are covered.

If you opt for the Critical illness Benefit (CIB) as an Add-on Cover, the following benefits will be payable. You will have to choose the amount of cover which you additionally want in this benefit. 

On diagnosis of any Critical Illness listed in this plan, the additional cover chosen will be paid. The payouts vary depending on whether the Critical Illness is Major or Minor. You can check the List of Critical Illnesses Covered under this plan. The premium for this cover is fixed for 5 years and may be reviewed after that.
  • In case of a Major Critical Illness, 100% of the CI Benefit is payable
  • In case of a Minor Critical Illness other than Angioplasty, 25% of the CI Benefit is payable
  • For Angioplasty, lower of 5 lakhs or 25% of the CI Benefit is payable
  • A maximum of 4 Minor Critical Illnesses including Angioplasty is payable

Please note that the premium for this cover is fixed for the first 5 years, post which it may undergo a revision.
