Tata AIG Wellsurance Executive Health Insurance policy is specifically designed to cover unforeseen medical expenses of busy executives. It pays for critical illnesses, surgeries, miscellaneous hospital expenses, benefits like daily hospital cash, convalescence etc.   

• Benefit amount is paid on diagnosis of 9 critical illnesses
• Benefit amount on major and minor specified surgeries
• Daily hospital cash benefit
• Benefit given for gradual recovery of health after hospitalisation
• Higher amount of hospital cash given for ICU or ICCU admissions

• 9 Critical Illnesses covered are Paralysis, Cancer, Stroke, Coma, First Heart Attack, Total Blindness, Major Burns, Multiple Sclerosis and Kidney Failure
• Surgeries like knee replacement, hip replacement, spinal surgery, tumor of eye ball, post-traumatic surgery etc
• Major surgeries like angioplasty, organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, tumor removal
• Minor surgeries like removal of kidney stones, appendectomy etc
• Hospitalisation expenses
• Cost of diagnostic tests
• Daily hospital cash
• Higher hospital cash for ICU and ICCU admission

Premiums up to Rs.15,000 paid towards this policy are allowed as a deduction from the taxable income each year under section 80D of the Income Tax Act.
