Aviva Life Insurance has announced the appointment of their new CEO and MD Trevor Bull who will replace T R Ramachandran. T R Ramachandran who has heading Aviva since 2008 will retire in January 2015.
Trevor Bull, who has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, comes with a proven track record across geographies including India. Bull has held key leadership positions in Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad, The Philippine American Life & General Insurance Company, Tata AIG Life Insurance, AIG Life Korea, ALICO Tokyo to name a few.
Prior to this Trevor was serving as the CEO of Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad (composite Insurer) as well as country head for 3 other affiliated service companies. He was the MD for Tata AIG Life (now Tata AIA Life) for over 3 years. Trevor said that he has been closely associated with the Indian insurance market for the last few years and is looking forward to this new role.
