Aviva Life Insurance has announced the name of 5 lucky winners of its nationwide contest ‘Aviva Young Scholar Hunt’. The contest, which started in June this year, was part of their new campaign to give five winners from India a chance to visit the prestigious Oxford University in UK. Aviva has sponsored an all expenses paid trip for the winners who will travel along with one parent and get the opportunity to meet the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.
Aviva Life Insurance Company, a joint venture between one of the country’s oldest and largest groups – Dabur, and UK’s largest insurance group – Aviva Plc. Life insurance products of Aviva India include a wide variety of child insurance plans, savings plans, retirement or pension plans, protection plans and health plans.
The winners of this contest are in the age group of 9 – 13 years. Two of them are from Mumbai, two from Bangalore and one from Rohtak.

Aviva Young Scholar Hunt campaign was launched by Aviva India in association with POGO channel for kids. The contest was carried out online on Aviva website and POGO channel; open for all kids in the age group 8 – 14 years. Based on an experiment done by Prateek Sethi who hosts a show called ‘F.A.Q’ on the popular kids channel in India, the participant kids were asked to write a slogan and answer some basic questions.
This unique campaign received over 90,000 entries from kids all over the country. The final winners were selected by an eminent jury from the field of media and advertising.
Commenting on the occasion, Gaurav Rajput, Director Marketing, Aviva India, said, “At Aviva, we believe that “Education is Insurance” for a better future and therefore launch initiatives that are focused on helping children realize their dreams, whether through insurance products, Aviva Street to School initiative or scholarships for bright young minds.
