The latest news doing the rounds in the insurance sector is the appointment of Sandeep Ghosh as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company.
Sandeep Ghosh will lead Bharti AXA Life with his rich experience of over 20 years, both in India and overseas. Before joining Bharti AXA Life, he worked with ANZ as the Managing Director – Commercial Banking Head for Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. He played a major role in building a commercial banking franchise for ANZ in Asia through organic builds and the integration of businesses acquired from RBS.
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (PGDBM) from IIM Ahmedabad as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy & Financial Management from Sydenham College, Mumbai University.
Announcing the latest appointment, Kevin Wright, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), South East Asia, AXA said, “We are delighted to have Sandeep on board. We are committed to building a strong franchise in India and I look forward to Sandeep leading the Bharti AXA Life team to newer heights through his leadership, rich experience, and market knowledge.”
