In a press release yesterday, Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance announced the appointment of John Holden as the Chief Executive Officer. He has replaced Harpal Karlcut, who has moved back to HSBC Insurance on an overseas assignment.
John Holden has international experience and has worked with HSBC for over 26 years in banking, insurance and marketing. Prior to joining Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Company Ltd, he was the Deputy President and Chief Operating Officer of Hana HSBC Life Insurance. Hana HSBC Life Insurance is a 50:50 joint venture between Korea’s Hana Financial Holdings and HSBC Insurance.
