HDFC LIFE which is a joint venture between HDFC Ltd and Standard Life PLC, a leading provider of financial services in United Kingdom has come up with a new unit linked plan for working women called “HDFC Life Smart Woman Plan”.
With the launch of this innovative plan, HDFC Life expects a hike of 30% in their overall premiums. This plan is designed for women to manage difficulties in their critical stage and conditions. It works well to manage their financial needs. This product is available for ages 18 to 45 years and includes covers against pregnancy complications, birth of child with congenital disorder, diagnosis of malignant cancer of female organs and death of spouse.
The minimum annual premium is Rs 24,000 that goes up to Rs 1 lakh. The plan offers life cover up to 40 times the annual premium and convenient policy term of 10 and 15 years.
