This year again, Aamchi Mumbai will witness spectacular celebrations during the 11-day festival of Ganesh Utsav. Pandals are expected to seek 500 crore plus of coverage from insurance companies for maximum damages. 

Ganesh Utsav, the festival honoring Lord Ganesha is celebrated all over India during September but maximum celebrations are witnessed in Mumbai and certain parts of Maharashtra. The pandals are set all over the city and the associations have approached insurance companies to insure all loss or damage/s to idol, pandal and devotees against fire, accident, theft and terrorist attacks.
