Yes Bank to collect premium for AEGON Religare Life Insurance

In order to provide hassle free services to its customers, AEGON Religare Life Chief Operating Officer Mr. Yateesh Srivastava announced the introduction of payment of insurance premium at Yes Bank. AEGON Religare Life has tied up with Yes Bank for collecting insurance premium of its customers. Policy holders can pay the premium amount at any of the branches across India of Yes bank.
AEGON Religare is a joint venture between AEGON, an international life insurance, holding 26% of share in the company, pension and investment company, holding 44% of the share capital and Religare, a global financial service group and Bennett, Coleman & Company holding balance 30% of the share capital. Company started its all India operational activity in July 2008 and also follows a multi – channel distribution strategy.
The process to be followed is that customers, needs to fill in deposit slip and mention the policy number, name and contact number on the reverse of the cheque. Acknowledgement receipt is issued by the bank immediately on the receipt of the cheque. This is a most convenient way a customer can pay his renewal as well as new business premium.
Mr. Srivastava further said that the bank accesses real time data of a customer’s policy and will collect the due premium. The facility of making payment of premium amount at the bank will be made available also to any of the new branches opened by the bank.
