HDFC ERGO Two Wheeler Insurance

Go on a carefree ride with your loved ones with HDFC ERGO Two Wheeler Insurance. This policy covers you against theft, damage, accident or third party liability. Further advantages include 24x7 claim assistance and easy claim settlement process. You can calculate insurance premium and buy a HDFC ERGO two wheeler insurance policy online, and choose from one of the optimized plans that are designed to provide the most comprehensive coverage in a cost effective way.
How it works – The policy protects your scooter/motorcycle against loss or damage caused due to natural or man-made reasons. It covers legal liabilities arising out of injury or death of a third party and even personal accident cover for the owner or driver.
Under this Two Wheeler Insurance, the sum insured on your two wheeler would depend up on the manufacturer's listed selling price minus each year's depreciation or the IDV (Insured's declared Value). The IDV would account to the maximum amount payable in the event of a claim for theft or total loss of the two wheeler.
Premium Calculation – The premium of your vehicle depends upon the following factors:
•    Age of the vehicle
•    IDV or sum insured
•    Place of vehicle registration
•    Vehicle type
