Private Insurance Company Aviva India has launched a new campaign that will give 5 winners across the country a chance to meet Sachin Tendulkar through an all expenses paid trip to the UK along with one parent. In addition they will also get to visit the prestigious Oxford University – one the premier educational institutes of the world.
The nationwide contest is titled 'Aviva Young Scholar Hunt' which is in association with POGO channel for kids. Prateek Sethi hosts a show called ‘F.A.Q’ on the popular kids channel in India and the contest is based on an experiment conducted by him. Participant Kids will have to write a slogan to participate in this contest. The contest is available online on Pogo as well as on Aviva India company site. It is open to all kids in the age group 8 to 14 years.
'Aviva Young Scholar Hunt' is open on-ground as well, wherein children from around 120 schools across cities like Mumbai, Delhi will get to participate.
Commenting on the new contest, Gaurav Rajput, Director - Marketing, Aviva India, said, "We believe that 'Education is Insurance', and have been launching initiatives that are focused on helping children realize their dreams, whether through insurance products, Aviva Street to School initiative, or scholarships for bright young minds."
He added, “Aviva Young Scholar Hunt is a step in the same direction. Through this initiative, they aim to not only provide kids a platform to showcase their intelligence and creativity, but also want them to aspire for a brighter future.”
In the past, Aviva has launched such innovative campaigns with Nat Geo channel and Hindustan Times. To secure important milestones like education for a child, Aviva Life Insurance has 2 child plans - ‘Aviva Young Scholar Advantage’ & ‘Aviva Young Scholar Secure’.
The new contest will be carried out for eight weeks and 20 deserving students will receive scholarships worth Rs 25000. Around 4,000 participants will get Sachin Tendulkar branded merchandise.
