Star Health and Allied Insurance Co Ltd (Star Health) has launched a revised and updated version of their “Star Comprehensive Insurance Policy” with additional features. The newly launched Star Comprehensive includes covers for medical consultation, bariatric surgery, air-ambulance, second medical opinion, and domiciliary hospitalization and day care procedures.
The policy can be purchased by adults between 18 years and 65 years of age and Children can be covered from 3 months and up to 25 years of age.
In addition to covering hospitalisation expenses, hospital cash and health checkup benefits, some of the fresh benefits of the policy are:
– Delivery expenses, New Born cover and vaccination
– Outpatient Dental and Ophthalmic treatment (free Eye treatment) once in every three years.
– Bariatric Surgery
– Accidental Death and Permanent Total Disablement
The policy also provides the option for Second Opinion by paying extra premium whereby the Insured can take Second Medical Opinion from a Doctor in the Company’s network of Medical Practitioners.
