Bajaj Allianz Health Ensure Policy is a basic health insurance policy to take care of an individual and the family members’ medical expenses in the event of hospitalisation due to any serious injury or accident. It also covers surgery expenses for varicose veins and varicose ulcers after a waiting period of just one year.
 

• Pre-existing diseases covered after 2 yrs
• No medical tests  required  for individuals up to  55  yrs of age
• Cashless facility at empanelled hospitals
• Claim amount reimbursement within 14 days 

• Room rent and nursing expenses covered up to 1% of the sum insured
• ICU expenses are covered up to 2% of the sum insured
• Surgeon’s fees, anesthesia expense, doctor’s fees covered up to 30% of sum insured
• Emergency ambulance charges will be provided for up to an amount of Rs. 1000
• 130 Day care procedures which do not require 24 hr hospitalisation are covered
• 2% of admissible expenses are paid towards expenses incurred prior to hospitalisation and  after hospitalisation
• Cost of pacemaker, artificial limbs, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, dialysis, X-ray, medicines, oxygen, anesthesia, blood etc covered up to 40% of sum insured

• Covers varicose veins and varicose ulcer surgeries after a waiting period of 1 year
• Children over 90 days old and below 5 yrs can be covered as well
• Free health check-up after 4 continuous policy renewals

Tax benefits under section 80 D available up to

• Rs.15,000 in case of individuals and
• Rs 20,000 for senior citizens 

• Pre-existing conditions are not covered for the first 2 yrs
• Treatments for cataracts, hernia, hypertrophy, uterine bleeding, hemorrhoids etc are covered after 2 yrs
• Treatments within first 30 days
• HIV, AIDS and related diseases
• Non-allopathic treatment, congenital diseases (existing at birth), cosmetic treatments
• Joint replacement surgery not covered for first 4 yrs
• Abuse of drugs, alcohol and intoxicants
