Exclusions - What is not covered in Bharti AXA Smart Health Insurance Policy?
- Pre-existing diseases and conditions for first 4 policy years
- 2 year exclusion for chronic illnesses such as cataract, dialysis, joint replacement surgery (unless caused by accident) etc
- AIDS, HIV and related diseases
- Abuse of drugs, alcohol, hallucinogens, intoxicant
- Complications related to pregnancy and child birth
- Hospitalisation expenses outside India
- Suicide or self-inflicted injury, mental disorder etc
- Diseases during first 30 days of policy and 60 days in case of critical illness
- Cost of contact lenses, hearing aids and spectacles
